Hi guys, I'm using the latest version of miranda, 0.7.7. I found the speak plug in for miranda, put it in my plugins directory, but I am getting no speech. Its checked in the options menu, and the lang_speak.txt file is in the main miranda directory. I am confuse on how to cumostize the plugin, the readme doesn't explain it too well, or maybe its already cumostimized for u? Can anyone help me figure out y I am not getting speech, and if its needed, to set up it correctly? Thanks, Mike.
I put the two text files into "c:program filesmiranda implugins" directory. The default is to speak everything at a very slow rate, using your default SAPI voice. It can all be changed either by editing "speaklangpack.txt" or through the gui. You're right, this isn't very well documented.
ok, do u wanna know how stupid i feel? I restarted miranda, and bang everything works. Yeah, I feel really dumb right now. :)
